** Shares of retailer Macy's M.N down ~10% at $15.06 premarket
** Company cuts annual adjusted EPS forecast to between $2.25 and $2.50 from prior forecast of $2.34 to $2.69, which was adjusted for an accounting error, as it struggles with increased promotions during the holiday shopping season amid weak demand
** Last month, Macy's said an employee made wrong accounting entries to hide about $132 mln to $154 mln of delivery expenses between Q4 of 2021 through Q3 of 2024
** Company had then delayed its Q3 results
** Before disclosing the error, the EPS forecast was $2.55 to $2.90
** Company's Q3 adjusted EPS of 4 cents beats analysts' estimate of 2 cents, while net sales of $4.74 bln misses expectation of $4.78 bln - data compiled by LSEG
** Stock down 16% YTD, as of last close
