Crown International (HKG:0727) suspended Chan Yuk Charm's duties and powers as executive director due to integrity issues, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.

The move comes after the company received a request from one of its major shareholders to suspend Chan from duty and hold an extraordinary general meeting to remove him from the board for concealing his bankruptcy order in 2002.

The suspension took effect on Dec. 11 and will be enforced until further notice.
