China Shenhua Energy (HKG:1088, SHA:601088) recorded a 1.1% year-over-year decrease in commercial coal production volume to 27.0 million tons in November, compared with 27.3 million tons logged for November last year.

Coal sales during the month reached 38.3 million tons, down 3.3% from a year earlier, according to a Friday filing.

From January to November, coal output rose 0.7% to 299 million tons, while sales grew 3.0% to 421.8 million tons.
