0000 GMT - The Bank of Japan is expected to tighten monetary policy Thursday, Moody's Analytics says in a note. "We look for a 25-basis point hike to 0.5%. However, the odds of a December hike versus a January one are about 60-40," it says. Moody's Analytics notes the central bank is worried that yen weakness might spur inflation, hurting real wages and consumer spending. However, financial markets have been jumpy in the past two weeks, and the yen has regained some ground against the dollar, Moody's Analytics adds. (monica.gupta@wsj.com)
