Metallurgical of China (SHA:601618, HKG:1618), or MCC, said China Minmetals acquired 9,171,859,770 of its A shares, or a 44.3% stake.

The above A shares, which were held by MCC Group, were acquired via free transfer agreement, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Following the share transfer, MCC Group directly holds 1,019,095,530 A shares, or a 4.9% stake, in MCC.
