Willas-Array Electronics (Holdings) (HKG:0854, SGX:BDR) recorded a loss attributable to owners of HK$62.2 million in the six months ended Sept. 30, 34.7% narrower than HK$95.2 million logged for the corresponding period last year, a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.
Loss per share stood at HK$0.7089 for the reporting period, compared with HK$1.0868 per share recorded for the year-ago period.
The electronic components distributor and trader's revenue for the six months under review was HK$1.19 billion, 12.5% lower than HK$1.36 billion booked a year ago.
The company attributed the decrease in revenue to a decrease in sales from all of its business segments besides the Industrial and Dealer segments.
