Ballard Power Systems Wins Orders for 90 Fuel Cell Engines

Ballard Power Systems has received orders for 90 fuel cell engines that will be used in buses destined for Europe.

The Canadian hydrogen fuel-cell maker said Friday that it will supply two bus manufacturers with 6.4 megawatts worth of total rated power.

Ballard didn't disclose any financial details of the orders but said the buses will be used for the European and U.K. city bus market.
