0900 ET - General Mills says sales in its North American retail business were up 1% on an organic basis thanks to an increase in retailer inventory driven in part by the late Thanksgiving holiday this year. Thanksgiving was in the final week of F2Q a year ago but the first week of F3Q this year. The later holiday and other timing-related benefits are expected to reverse in the second half of fiscal 2025, the company says. Net sales were flat year-over-year as higher prices offset a drop in volumes. (dean.seal@wsj.com)
