Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (HKG:1398, SHA:601398), or ICBC, completed the issue of 10 billion yuan of green bonds, a Thursday bourse filing said.
The fixed-rate bonds have a term of four years and carry a 1.76% interest rate. The issuer has a conditional redemption right at the end of the third year.
The lender will use proceeds from the issue to improve its total loss-absorbing capacity, as well as for green industry projects.
