Singapore Airlines' (SGX:C6L) group passenger capacity increased by 9.3% year on year in November, while passenger traffic grew 8.3%, according to a Monday filing on the Singapore Exchange.

Passenger load factor was 0.8 percentage points lower year-on-year at 87%.

The group, which includes Singapore Airlines and Scoot, carried a combined 3.3 million passengers during the month, an increase of 7.5% from a year earlier.

Singapore Airlines reported a load factor of 86.8%, while Scoot posted 87.4%, the filing said.

Cargo operations saw a 10.3% rise in load amid an increase in freight charters. Cargo capacity was up 12.8% from a year ago, driven by higher utilization of freighter aircraft. The cargo load factor decreased by 1.3 percentage points to 56.6%.

In November, SIA launched daily passenger services to Beijing's Daxing International Airport.

As of Nov. 31, the group's passenger network covered 128 destinations in 37 countries and territories.
