S&P Global Ratings affirmed its credit rating on Challenger (ASX:CGF) at "BBB+" with a stable outlook, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The investment management firm's annuity unit Challenger Life has an "A" rating with a stable outlook, the filing said.
Challenger's shares were down almost 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
