GenusPlus Group (ASX:GNP) said its joint venture with Acciona received a notice to proceed from Transgrid for work on the AU$4.8 billion HumeLink transmission project, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

Transgrid is a privately held firm that operates and manages the high-voltage transmission grid in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

On-site work on HumeLink is set to start in May 2025, with completion expected by late 2027, the filing said. The 365-kilometer renewable energy infrastructure will support the delivery of clean energy to homes and businesses in New South Wales once completed.
