China Maple Leaf Educational Systems (HKG:1317) recorded a profit attributable to owners of 15.5 million yuan in fiscal 2024, higher than 5.1 million yuan logged for the previous fiscal year, a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.
Earnings per share stood at 0.0052 yuan in the year ended Aug. 31, compared with 0.0017 yuan recorded for the year-ago period.
The private educational institutes operator's revenue for this fiscal year was 1.23 billion yuan, 6.7% higher than the 1.15 billion yuan booked a year ago, attributable to an increase in tuition fee income for the reporting period.
