CapitaLand Ascendas REIT (SGX:A17U) issued 3,333,043 units at SG$2.5878 apiece for the payment of 20% of the base management fee for the June to November period, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Monday.
Of the total, 600,000 units were issued to CapitaLand Ascendas REIT Management, the manger of the trust, while the remaining 2,733,043 units were issued to CLI RE Fund Investments, an entity nominated by the manager to receive these units in its place.
Both CapitaLand Ascendas REIT Management and CLI RE Fund Investments are units of CapitaLand Investment (SGX:9CI)
Following the issue of these units, the total number of units in issue is 4,400,309,193, of which the manager's unitholding is 733,864 units, representing 0.0167% of the total units in issue.
