CGN Power (SHE:003816, HKG:1816) started construction at its 1-million-kilowatt photovoltaic power generation project in Laos, YiCai Global reported Thursday.
The project will have an annual output of 1.7 billion kilowatt-hours to provide electricity for 10 million households, according to the report.
CGN Power is co-developing the project with more than 70 Chinese and Lao firms, YiCai Global wrote.
Shares of the company were down 1% in recent trade on the Shenzhen bourse.
