Keppel Infrastructure Trust Completes Acquisition of Marina East Water

Keppel Infrastructure (SGX:A7RU) completed a 50% acquisition of Marina East Water, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Friday.

In an earlier filing, the trust had entered into an agreement for the acquisition of a 50% interest in Marina East Water from Keppel (SGX:BN4).

Marina East Water owns the Keppel Marina East Desalination Plant that is valued at SG$323 million.

Following the acquisition, assets under the management of the trust will grow to about SG$9.0 billion.

The deal will entitle the trust to the entire economic benefit of MEW, which owns Keppel Marina East Desalination Plant.
