MicroAlgo (MLGO) said Tuesday it has developed a quantum algorithm for a full adder operation using CPU registers in quantum gate computers.

The technology improves quantum computers' computation speeds and accuracy when handling complex arithmetic tasks, MicroAlgo said. The development has potential applications in data processing, encryption and decryption, and optimization, the company added.

MicroAlgo shares jumped more than 55% in early trading.
