Regener8 Resources (ASX:R8R) identified mineralization from a recent maiden drill program at the East Ponton project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The program yielded up to 15 meters at 0.3 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 60 meters, including 2 meters at 0.5 g/t gold, as well as 5 meters at 828 parts per million (ppm) nickel and 468 ppm cobalt from 60 meters, including 1 meter at 1,205 ppm nickel and 681 ppm cobalt from 60 meters, the filing said.

The mineralization style encountered in the area was similar to that of an established project owned by a neighboring miner, per the filing.
