Guangzhou Automobile Group (HKG:2238, SHA:601238) launched a third-generation embodied intelligent humanoid robot, Yicai Global reported Dec. 27.
The android, GoMate, has autonomous navigation capabilities using the company's pure vision autonomous driving algorithm. It has two- and four-wheel modes based on the application scenarios, according to the report.
The Chinese automobile maker intends to start the small-scale production of the android in 2026 and gradually expand the production scale, Yicai reported.
The company's Shanghai shares fell 2% and Hong Kong shares slipped more than 1% in recent trade.
