Bohai Leasing's Unit Signs Sale-Leaseback Deal With UK Air Transport Services Firm

Bohai Leasing's (SHE:000415) unit, Avolon, signed a sale and leaseback agreement with UK-based air transport services company Avianca Group International, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange disclosure on Dec. 27.

Under the deal, 10 A320NEO aircraft from Airbus were bought through subsidiary Avolon Finance Ireland for $1.11 billion. Avolon Finance will then lease the aircraft to Avianca for 12 years.

The aircraft will be delivered to Avianca in the fourth quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2027, the Chinese leasing company said.
