1038 GMT - Indian shares closed lower, dragged by tech and finance stocks. Tech Mahindra lost 2.35% and Infosys was down 1.3%. Icici Bank and Baja Finance were down 0.9% and 0.8%, respectively. Meanwhile, ITC and Tata Motors led gains, up 1.4% and 0.95%, respectively. Adani Wilmar fell 6.45% on follow-through selling after Adani Enterprises said it will exit the consumer-goods joint venture with Singapore's Wilmar International.
