ICL Group (ICL) said Monday its Rotem Amfert Negev unit in Israel was granted a 20-year phosphate mining license, which takes effect on Jan. 1.
Rotem's new concession, which it obtained after a competitive process held by the Israeli Ministry of Energy and Infrastructures, replaces the current one that expires Tuesday.
The concession agreement incorporates environmental rehabilitation obligations, similar to the existing one, ICL said.
ICL shares were edging 0.2% higher in recent trading.
