Electronic technology stocks rose 1.2% at midday Tuesday amid thin trading on the final day of the year.
Smart safety and sport cycling company Cycliq Group (ASX:CYQ) led the advance as shares surged 25%. Meanwhile, uranium enrichment technology company Silex Systems (ASX:SLX) gained 0.4%.
On the flip side, health services were the biggest losers as shares fell 1.3%.
Doctor Care Anywhere Group (ASX:DOC) led the decline, with shares down 6.3%.
