Smartgroup (ASX:SIQ) received notice that State Street and its subsidiaries became a substantial holder in the employee benefits services provider after accumulating 5.08% voting power, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The American financial services company currently has 6.8 million Smartgroup shares, equivalent to the same number of votes, the filing said.
