Leader Environmental Technologies (SGX:LS9) has named executive director Ngoo Lin Fong as the company's executive chairman, effective Feb. 1, a filing with the Singapore Exchange said on Thursday.

Fong will succeed Lin Yucheng, who will leave the role and transit to emeritus chairman and senior advisor, the filing said.

Shares of the company were up over 5% in recent trading.
