Postal Savings Bank of China (HKG:1658, SHA:601658) approved the proposal to appoint Zheng Guoyu as the chairman of the board of the bank, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The appointment is subject to the approvals of the National Financial Regulatory Administration and shareholders of the bank. Following this, Zheng Guoyu will serve in the proposed post for the next three years.

Zheng Guoyu is a senior economist and is currently serving as the director, president, and chief compliance officer of the China Post Group Corporation.
