Anhui Expressway (HKG:0995) and parent Anhui Transportation Holding Group agreed to acquire two highway concession companies for 4.77 billion yuan.

The two companies are Fuzhou, which currently owns the Fuzhou Expressway concession rights and Sixu, which owns the Huaibei Section of Sixu Expressway concession rights.

The transaction will be completed upon fulfilling specific conditions, including regulatory approvals and the release of pledges on toll collection rights.

Anhui Transportation Holding Group currently owns 31.63% of the Anhui Expressway's shares, making the deal a connected transaction.
