China Everbright Water (HKG:1857, SGX:U9E) plans to issue the first tranche of medium-term bonds with a principal amount of 1.5 billion yuan to professional investors through the national inter-bank bond market of mainland China, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The bonds have a maturity period of five years while their interest rate can be adjusted by the company. The subscribers will also have the option to resell the bonds.
The 2025 first tranche of medium-term bonds is expected to be issued on Jan.6 and Jan. 7.
The company plans to use the proceeds from the bond issue for its working capital.
