Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises (BW) said Tuesday its B&W Thermal business unit has secured a contract worth around $13 million to retrofit boiler cleaning systems for a power plant in southeast Asia.
B&W Thermal will provide its boiler cleaning technology for the plant to retain stable, full-capacity power generation, enhancing operational efficiency, lowering coal consumption, and reducing associated carbon emissions, the company added.
The company intends to complete the project in Q1 2026, Babcock & Wilcox said.
