Regis Healthcare (ASX:REG) agreed to acquire the business and assets of private home care operator BodeWell Community Care in Victoria and Southeast Queensland for an undisclosed amount, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

With the acquisition, Regis expects its home care business to double to roughly AU$30 million in revenue with more than 2,500 clients, the filing said.

The deal will be funded via existing cash. Completion is expected in the fourth quarter.

The company's shares were up 1% in recent Monday trade.
