Qing Lijun has resigned as China Foods' (HKG:0506) managing director effective Monday due to a change in work arrangement while retaining his role of chairman, a same-day bourse filing said.

Qing has also been re-designated from an executive director to a non-executive director of the company.

The beverage manufacturer, on the same day, named Zhan Zaizhong as its managing director and an executive director.

Zhan joined the group in 2004 and is currently the CEO of COFCO Coca-Cola Beverages Limited.
