Amesite (AMST) said late Monday it plans a "best efforts" underwritten public offering of an undisclosed amount of its common shares or pre-funded warrants.

The company said it intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, among other things.

Amesite shares were down nearly 21% in after-hours activity.
