Investment holding firm Aelios has raised its offer price to acquire all units of Suntec Real Estate Investment Trust (SGX:T82U) it does not own to SG$1.19 per share from SG$1.16 per share.
The offeror also extended the closing date of the offer from Jan. 20 to Feb. 3, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Wednesday.
As of Jan. 8, the total number of units owned, controlled, or agreed to be acquired by the
offeror and parties acting in concert represent about 33.32% of the total number of issued units.
Shares of the REIT were up nearly 3% in recent trading.
