Pacific Edge (ASX:PEB, NZE:PEB) requested that its securities be placed in trading halt ahead of the market open on Friday until an announcement is made about the implications of a draft Local Coverage Determination (LCD) by Novitas, according to a same-day filing with the Australian bourse.

The LCD concerns Medicare's reimbursement of the company's Cxbladder bladder cancer detection test, the filing said.
