Pulse Biosciences has appointed the company's co-chairman, Paul A. LaViolette, as its new chief executive.
LaViolette replaces Burke T. Barrett, who was named president and CEO of the medical-technology company in May, and stepped down in December.
LaViolette is currently a director for Edwards Lifesciences and chairman of the Innovation Advisory Board at Mass General Brigham.
