Nova Group (HKG:1360) appointed Woo Lan Ying as the chairman of the board with effect from Thursday, a same-day Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The appointment followed the resignation of Wong Yuk Lun Alan from his posts of chairman and chief executive officer among others. Wong tendered his resignation to spend more time on his other business engagements.

The company's senior management and other board members will take up the responsibilities of the CEO position after Wong.
