Cathay Pacific Airways (HKG:0293) apologized to passengers on two flights from Nepal following incidents of food poisoning on those flights, the South China Morning Post reported Thursday.
Hong Kong's flag carrier also promised to cooperate with authorities with their investigation, the report said.
More than a dozen passengers of CX640 from Kathmandu felt sick, with 12 of those passengers brought to a hospital in North Lantau, Hong Kong, on Thursday, the report said.
On Wednesday, 10 passengers fell sick on flight 640 also fell sick, according to the SCMP.
The airline said the food contamination came from outside the airline, adding Cathay Pacific will take care of the matter "transparently," the SCMP reported.
Shares fell 1% during Friday's afternoon trading.
