Penguin Solutions (PENG) said late Thursday it has signed a collaboration deal with SK Telecom and SK hynix focused on the development of artificial intelligence data center offerings and services.
The partnership aims to expand artificial intelligence infrastructure capabilities by combining Penguin Solutions' Scyld ClusterWare software with SK Telecom's artificial intelligence management tools, the company said.
SK hynix and Penguin Solutions' SMART Modular Technologies brand will also collaborate on memory products to improve efficiency and performance in accelerated compute infrastructure environments.
Financial details were not disclosed.
Shares of Penguin Solutions gained 16% in premarket activity Friday.
