Alaska Air Group (ALK) said Tuesday it will launch three new year-round nonstop routes in the US state of Oregon, connecting Portland to Houston, Portland to Eugene, and Medford to San Diego starting May 15.
The airline said the Portland-Houston service will operate daily using a 737 aircraft, marking Alaska's first direct connection between these cities. Portland-Eugene and Medford-San Diego routes will have twice-daily and daily flights, respectively, on E175 aircraft, Alaska said.
Alaska Air said it is also increasing service on other Oregon routes, with Portland-Medford flights increasing to four times a day and Portland-Redmond routes flying three times daily year-round.
