ANU chancellor Julie Bishop and her pro chancellor, former KPMG chairwoman Alison Kitchen, have written to staff and students downplaying outrage over university chief Genevieve Bell’s until recently concurrent paid job with global tech giant Intel.
Ms Bishop and Ms Kitchen reiterated that Professor Bell’s Intel position was “well known and celebrated” and that all necessary declarations and processes had been ticked off.
