ESR (HKG:1821) will partner with US-based data center firm CloudHQ to jointly build, fit out, and operate a $2 billion data center facility in Osaka, Japan, according to a Thursday news release.
The two companies will operate the Cosmosquare Data Centre campus, which targets to deliver 130 megawatts of data center capacity over three phases.
Phase 1 will be available for service in June 2025 and will provide 25 megawatts of data center capacity, the real estate manager said.
