Beacon Minerals (ASX:BCN) reported a 31% rise in gold production at its Jaurdi Gold project in Western Australia in the December 2024 quarter, reaching 6,861 ounces from 5,230 ounces in the September 2024 quarter, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Results exceeded the guidance for the December quarter of 6,500 ounces, the filing said. The guidance for the March 2025 quarter is 7,000 to 8,000 ounces.
Gold produced in fiscal 2024 was 23,068 ounces, down from 29,110 ounces in fiscal 2023, according to the filing.
Shares rose more than 17% in morning trade Wednesday.
