Strategic Energy Resources (ASX:SER) said ground gravity and drone magnetic surveys, combined with machine learning models, have refined drill targets at the Nardoo copper-gold site at its Isa North project in Queensland, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Four geophysical targets have been highlighted as high-priority, it said.

Site preparations were completed ahead of the proposed drill program and site visits to assess the area are imminent in anticipation of earthworks for drilling to commence in mid-2025, the filing added.

The firm's shares rose over 14% on market close.
