Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) said it achieved gold recoveries of up to about 99% from metallurgical studies on samples from its Side Well gold project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Testing was designed to look at gravity and cyanide leach recoveries of gold over various grind sizes, the filing said.
The company said the testing showed copper levels within the project's Mulga Bill deposit will not impact gold recoveries or cyanide consumption. It is now considering additional test work to optimize the metallurgical flowsheet.
The firm's shares fell past 4% at market close Wednesday.
