Uni-Fuels Holdings (UFG) said Wednesday it has closed its underwritten initial public offering of 2.1 million shares at $4 per share for gross proceeds of $8.4 million.

Underwriters were given a 45-day option to buy up to 315,000 additional shares, Uni-Fuels said.

Uni-Fuels shares were 12% higher in recent trading.
