Garmin (GRMN) expanded the availability of its ECG App to customers in Australia and the EU with compatible smartwatches, including the Venu 3 Series and fenix 8 Series.

The electrocardiogram app enables users to monitor their heart rhythm and detect potential signs of atrial fibrillation, the company said Wednesday in a statement.

The ECG App requires the latest version of Garmin Connect and smartwatch software.

Garmin plans to expand its portfolio of products supporting the ECG App and offer the app in new regions, pending regulatory approvals.
