Civitas Resources (CIVI) is considering selling part or all of its assets in the Denver-Julesburg Basin centered in eastern Colorado, which could be valued at over $4 billion, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing sources familiar with the matter.

The report said Civitas Resources is working with a financial adviser to assess buyer interest in the assets, which produce about 160,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

Civitas is open to fully divesting from the Colorado-based basin if an attractive offer is made, Bloomberg said, adding that deliberations are ongoing, and the company may ultimately decide not to pursue a transaction.

Civitas Resources did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
