Nanoveu (ASX:NVU) said its Embedded AI Systems ECS-Dot Chipset executed an accurate fall detection artificial intelligence model in just 1 millisecond in a comprehensive fall detection evaluation, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
It achieved up to 90 times lower power consumption compared with traditional "always-on" systems, the filing said.
The company is conducting additional real-world testing of the chipset to evaluate its energy-efficient computation for applications in smart cities and smart homes, the filing said. The results are expected this quarter.
The company is seeking partnerships with device end-users to advance technology uptake and deployment.
