Shares of Blaize Holdings were down 24% to $9.90 on Wednesday, following a few days of large swings before and after the combination of Blaize Inc. and BurTech Acquisition Corp.
Blaize provides processor architecture and a software platform for AI computing. The merger close was announced Monday and Blaize began trading on Nasdaq Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the company said Wednesday that it named Lane Bess chairman. Bess, former chief of Palo Alto Networks, invested in Blaize more than three years ago, the company said.
BurTech shares fell 21% Friday and rose 28% Monday. Blaize stock had a Tuesday range of $12.15 to $19.25, but ended the day at $13.09, flat with BurTech's Monday closing price.
