King River Resources (ASX:KRR) struck gold mineralization at its Kurundi project, in the Northern Territory, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company's reverse circulation drilling program yielded up to nine meters at 1.6 grams per tonne grade of gold from 49 meters, including one meter at 12.75 g/t from 53 meters, the filing stated.
Further drilling is planned within the year, with new drill targets expected to be identified following the processing and interpretation of 2023 geophysical data and 2024 assay results progress, the filing added.
